I really like watching the Pelicans resting on the top of old dock pilings, if you watch them long enough, you will see them fly out looking for small fish like white fish and sardines, which are now in the Terra Ceia Bay waters in large schools, when the Pelicans see them, they will dive into the water with their mouths open and trap the fish in their mouths, they will raise their heads and drain the water out and then swallow the fish. It's quite a great experience to see. These are brown Pelicans and they are magnificent birds. I also like to watch them fly together in a "v" shape formation, they will glide real close to the water,they are Beautiful!
